• Alessandro Gallina

    Alessandro has a background in biology and a doctorate in medical science from the Karolinska Institute in Sweden. Alessandro transitioned to the public health sector and joined the Directorate General for Health (DG SANTE) of the European Commission in Luxembourg. At DG SANTE, his primary focus was on the implementation of European Reference Networks for rare and complex diseases. He further expanded his expertise in global health by participating in a master class at Lund University in Sweden.
